In-house corporate counsel must often present both legal and business-based advice to the companies they represent. For this roundtable, three experienced in-house counsel to companies in different industries will discuss their perspectives on how best to provide legal and business guidance to the C-Suite executives of the companies they serve. They will also discuss their own personal experiences and insights. Our panelists are Wendy Hufford, who is SVP and General Counsel to Chico’s FAS Inc. and has been General Counsel to large public companies in several industries over her career; Sheila Murphy, who was SVP and Associate General Counsel to MetLife, and now is a consultant to in-house counsel and executives; and Jeremy Reich, who is General Counsel to and a management level executive of Unlimited Technology, Inc. and PSB Exero, private companies that are leaders in their industry.
