Unpacking Structural Inequality: Its Impact on LGBTQ+ Communities of Color
This panel discussion continues the conversations regarding systemic inequality started earlier this year in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and so many others. Despite the LGBTQ+ community’s recent success in Bostock v. Clayton County, a landmark case in LGBTQ+ employment rights, we recognize the further marginalization of racial minorities within the LGBTQ+ community based on their intersectionalties. With awareness and action comes progress.

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation on systemic inequality and its trickle-down effect on people of color within the larger LGBTQ+ community. In this first installment in the series, we will raise awareness of disparities faced by LGBTQ+ minorities in government, housing, and law, and discuss approaches to counter these issues and to even the playing field for all.
